Independent living is designed for seniors who are able to live easily on their own and require little, if any, assistance with activities of daily living (eating, dressing, personal needs, etc.). Residents at The Gatesworth benefit by leaving behind the inconveniences of home ownership, such as maintenance and yard work, and enjoying access to a wide range of amenities, services, and social opportunities.

What is assisted living?

Seniors who need assistance with the activities of daily living, but who do not require daily nursing care, benefit from the services offered at an assisted living community. Supportive services at McKnight Place Assisted Living are tailored to meet the individual needs of each Resident, so they can continue to live as independently as possible. Staff, including health service professionals, certified nurse assistants and personal care providers provide the highest level of individualized care.

What is skilled nursing care?

Individuals who require a high level of round-the-clock nursing care benefit from the services offered in a skilled nursing care community. Skilled nursing Residents can also include patients recuperating from surgery or hospitalization. Residents at McKnight Place Extended Care receive a wide range of nursing and rehabilitation services from registered nurses and other licensed nursing and professional care staff, including occupational, speech and physical therapists.

What is Memory Care?

Memory Care communities offer specialized care and programs for individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. At Parc Provence, competent, qualified professional staff trained in geriatric rehabilitation, cognitive restorative therapies and memory care provide highly individualized care.
